The Horse Sense Blog compares the nonsense in today's news with good ol' fashioned horse sense

“…I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve.… It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfill the great responsibility which we hold to God and our country. Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings.” - Patrick Henry, March 23, 1775

"The further a society drifts from truth the more it will hate those who speak it." - George Orwell

Hillary's Strategists Report Almost Total Collapse Of Her Support

Here's the Nonsense:  It's over.  The media have made it clear that Hillary has already won the election.

Here's the Horse Sense:  There's way too much evidence that the contest is very much still going strong.  There is even a report that has now been revealed from a strategic consulting group for Hillary that says Trump is surging while Hillary is falling.  It's far from over.

So, do all the media claims that Hillary has already won the election make you wonder if Trump really has a chance? Take heart.  Benenson Strategy Group, a  pro-Hillary strategic consulting firm, did a study and the results are exactly the opposite of what the media want you to believe. The report shows Hillary's support in almost total collapse in the past 2 weeks while Trump's continues to grow.  The report shows that media reports that Trump has already lost are nothing but outright lies being used to try to manipulate the outcome of the election.

The report makes it clear that things like the Wikileaks emails are having a damaging impact on Hillary's campaign.  This helps Trump's campaign and strengthens his support as it reinforces his message that Hillary is a criminal who is unfit to serve as president.

The downside of the report is that it confirms how uninformed some voters are.  For example, it says:

"On a positive note, most respondents who were liberal-leaning (83%) or Independent (59%) were unaware of the messaging front concerning Bill Clinton's sexual misconduct. While the vast majority (88%) were aware of the consensual extra-marital relationships, the mainstream media approach to the stories has left only 8% of liberal-leaning voters and only 19% of independents aware of the allegations of rape."

That lack of awareness of Bill Clinton's history, and Hillary's work to cover it up and destroy the women who said Bill had attacked them, shows how little attention many Americans pay to the kind of people they elect to govern our country. That in itself is enough to explain much of the dire state of our nation.

But it also shows that Republican-leaning voters are much more aware when it says things like:

"On a disturbing note, some 70% of Republican-leaning voters are aware [of] bussed-in voting, false-face operations, and dead-man's-party registration drives.  This may necessitate severe strategy changes for November."

And goes on to say provide this graphic:

The report concludes with 3 findings:

1.)  The Damage Has Metastasized - "Hillary is widely considered sick, untrustworthy, and most Hillary-leaning Democrats would vote to replace her."

2.)  Trump Voters are Virtually Unstoppable - "Where 11% of Hard Clinton supporters could be dissuaded from voting by a strong storm and 17% would balk at a 90 minute wait, Trump's strong support only diminishes in the events of catastrophic attacks on America.  Some demographics (blue-collar white men between the ages of 30 and 64) were more likely to say they would vote in the event of an active riot standing between them and the ballot."

3.)  The Public Has Lost Faith In Polling - "Poll-driven narratives have been pushed too far, alienating most of the voting population.  The use of polls as a psychological weapon has also been noticed (especially on social media).  As the poll-gap narrative becomes ever more extreme, obvious visible evidence (rally-size, yard-signs, bumper-stickers, memes / social-media posts) becomes more and more obviously contradictory.  Attempts at shaming outspoken poll-deniers such as Bill Mitchell onTwitter have failed in 2016 where they succeeded (Dean Chambers) in 2012.  We are in uncharted territory."

The report concludes with both non-recommended and recommended options to salvage Hillary's campaign.  These are so extreme that it does give me some pause as to the report's authenticity.  However, J. B. Williams, co-founder of  the North American Law Center, wrote an article about this report and also was a bit skeptical about its authenticity.  He even contacted Benenson to see if they'd confirm or deny its authenticity but could get no answer from them.  When his article raises this question he writes:

"However, in checking the client list of Benenson Strategy Group, it read like who's who of leftist organizations, from the ACLU to Planned Parenthood, NBC to Obama, DSCC and DCCC.  Strangely missing from the web site client list is The Clinton Foundation or Clinton Campaign directly, although the alleged BSG Report shows both the BSG (oder version) and Clinton Foundation logos.

"Then in checking Hillary Clinton social media pages, such as her official Facebook group, I noted that her FB friends dropped from a little over 9 million a week ago to slightly over 7 million today. Although every post on her FB group is a pro-Hillary propaganda puff piece, the comments under each is a plethora of anti-Hillary comments, most of them attacking her for the information made public by Wiki Leaks and Project Veritas."

Evidence of Trump's growing support and Hillary's falling support in recent days goes beyond this report.  Trump's rally attendance is growing ever larger with tens of thousands of people showing up each time he has another rally.  And Hillary's seem to still be having trouble getting more than dozens or hundreds of people to show up.  And support from groups like the black community are growing. The Gateway Pundit is reporting that Trump is on track to get a larger portion of the black community's votes than any Republican candidate since 1960.

So, when the media try to tell you it's all over, ignore them.  Trump's momentum continues to grow and there's good evidence that he's on track to win.  Only if the Democrats can successfully steal the election will he lose.  But as Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over till it's over."
